Sonoma

There is so much to do and see in Sonoma.

Here are some ideas/links to places around the area.

See you on Saturday!

Sonoma Plaza/Main Square: Worth a trip to walk, shop and eat. It’s the center of town and full of life. The park has benches and lovely animals as well as a children’s playground. There are a few jewelry and clothing vintage stores and lots of wine tasting and food.

Tasting rooms: Located all over town! But, not just near the square; check out the surrounding rolling hills and secret spots. We suggest, of course, Buena Vista, but we also love Ledson, Chateau St. Jean, J Vineyards, Francis Ford Coppola Winery, and Roche. Here is a full list - click here!

Sonoma’s Best: For coffee 100% and for food 110%. Ask for the “bear latte” - it’s a latte with milk, honey and cinnamon or get a great sandwich. They also have a great tasting room. Link

Train Town: Located just one mile south of the Plaza in Sonoma, TrainTown features a quarter scale railroad on 4 miles of track. Each train trip lasts 20-minutes and goes through tunnels, over bridges and makes a stop in Lakeview- the miniature town and petting zoo. In addition to the train, they offer six amusement rides.

The Golden Gate Bridge: Walk it, it’s worth it. It’s super close and it’s an unforgettable experience. Even for locals.

Sausalito: If you want to take about a 20 minute drive, you should go to Sausalito. It’s an incredible little town on the water, with amazing views, waterfront restaurants and markets.

Hot Springs: Yes they have that too. Check it out: Link.

Restaurants: There are so many, but we recommend OSO, The Butcherman, and Layla. The Girl and the Fig is a popular spot as well. Reservations are a must. There is also a Whole Foods located near the main square that has a smoothie shop and snacks.

Medical Cannabis Shop: We aren’t into it, but hey, it’s a “medical” spot. So, if you’re so inclined, we heard “Sparc” is the spot to find something to cure your hangover.

Napa: Super close. We can’t even begin to suggest places here - because it’s all wonderful. Drive over and check it out, but if you can stop by the Chateau Buena Vista and eat some chocolate!
